Boasting a High Definition Imaging System, the da Vinci S system provides the surgeon with unparalleled 3-D visualization of the surgical field. The surgeon operates the robot from a bedside console and a powerful computer translates the surgeons hand gestures into delicate movements of the robotic arms.

Entire surgical procedures can be performed through tiny keyhole incisions, alleviating the need for a large incision. Recovery time is shorter and patients return to normal activity quicker.

The daVinci system has other applications as well. Certain patients with kidney and bladder abnormalities can benefit from this technology.
